All In a Day’s Work

IMG_20130220_234018

Burning the midnight oil has become my routine as of late, being that I’m a night owl and school is taking up a lot of my time.

I would like to share a day in the life of a design student:

wake

coffee

remember to eat

homework

class

coffee

homework

sleep

repeat

Excited yet?  Hahha, it’s not so bad, in fact it’s days like today that get me excited about this business.  Today I had my first visit to the New York Design Center, otherwise known as Mecca.

Holy cow, you guys…amazing!  Some neat finds from an amazing showroom from 1stDibs, an incredible online collaboration of antique dealers that have stalls at this location.

I also had my first trip to M&J trimmings, the most amazing store of notions and trims in NYC, or anywhere!

After all this inspiration, I was ready to get down to work on some renderings of fabric samples!
