Todays post is another one courtesy of my amazing Mom, and her wicked upcycling skills! My Mom and Dad found an old, wrought iron Singer sewing machine table bottom and wanted to make it into a desk, that’s pretty cool right there!
But, not one to pass up the chance to use materials on hand, my Mom pulled out a wooden trinket display case that hung in our stairwell for years and wanted to use that as the desk top!
Placing all of her little knick-knacks inside, they then measured and had professionally cut a heavy, thick piece of beveled glass to sit on top! There are a few silicone stoppers holding the glass in place, but what you get is a unique piece of furniture, worthy of any curiousity shoppe!
Sew amazing, right?! Is it any wonder where I get it from?
I want one now! Thanks Mom for the brillant idea!
